How long did you wait to take your newborn into public places?

I waited for my babies to at least have their first round of shots. The public can be nasty at times lol. I just didn't want to risk it.

I only waited 2 weeks and brought her to a 4th of July family party. I just kept her in her car seat, no one got to close and no one held her.

I went out 3 date later. mind you I was still sore and we didn't go into any large crowds or where there was much of anybody but we went out. it was good for my sanity. I breastfeed so I'd like to think that's nature's protection at its best but she's healthy as a horse

We all went to Walmart right after I was discharged from the hospital and walked around for like an hour
