Hi mamas!..Question for y'all. I'm a FTM and 36w2d and my baby measures 6.5 lbs. The ultrasound tech said the baby should be around 7.5lb when he comes out but I think he will be bigger then that and I'm afraid if he is then I won't be able to push him out. Don't you think for being 36w preg and baby weights 6.5 is a little big?
my daughter came out at 6lbs n 7 oz n they said the sameyhing to me maybe there mschine is screwed up
I've always heard they gain .5 lb every week for the last month so if that's the case he would weigh 8.5 lbs or around that but that's not too big
Agghh thank you. It's my first and I'm 33 years old and it's so close to deliver that I'm terrified lol
trust me your body will not make a baby too big for it. im 5"5 and I just pushed a 9lb 2 3oz baby boy out 14 months ago and he was my third. all naturally too so you got this!😊 plus its only a guess. they said my sisters fourth was gonna be over 9 cuz her third was and he was onky 8lbs 4oz. he had a lot of amniotic fluid so that could be it too
they actually slow down on gaining weight at like 37 weeks. like i said they are only guessing. my first was 8 lbs 2 weeks early, second 8lb 14.3oz 6 days early and third 9lbs 2.3oz 2 days late. dont be scared your body was made for this!
