Well, as a woman who has done it both ways, if I ever have another baby I will be doing it naturally again. The experience was better doing it naturally for me. But everyone is different. Like I said, listen to your body! :)
I got the epi with my first and didn't with my second. Labor was a LOT longer without the epi. And I could literally feel my pelvis being torn apart to get my daughter through. It was horribly excruciating. That being said- I healed a lot faster than I did with my first baby. I was able to push a lot easier than with the epi. Baby was born faster and there was less trauma to my vagina. But it's all up to you mama. Listen to your body and you'll know what to do.
I wouldn't insist that you get the epidural unless you really felt you need them. I was really hoping for a natural birth but being induced didn't help me with that. What kind of font are you using?
I have headaches still :( I was in labor for ten hours and I did 6 of it natural so I'm proud of that but yeah, I completely regret making the choice to get induced but whike I was pregnant I couldn't have been pregnant any longer.. @junesmommy15 @so_rue_
I wanted to go natural. and tried so hard, but I got induced and 6 and a half hours into labor I got my epidural, and it helped alot, but I'm a month pp and still have bad back pain right where I got my epidural. I think that if I went into labor naturally I would have been able to do it without the epidural. but it's really just how high your pain threshold is.. I can handle pain kinda but those contractions when your getting induced get reallly strong reallly fast. so it's harder to get used to them
I want to go natural and ended up being induced which I could not take that pain. I ended up going with the epidural which I don't regret. I felt bad at first but it was so much more relaxing. I still want to try natural again and if I can't take it, I have no problem getting epidural again.
