taking antibiotics for an uti why do I feel like its dangerous?? unsure about these meds

I took it a month ago. my baby is ok and still growing and active as we speak.

ohh and that was at a freaking er that they gave me that...

ohh wow I'll definitely sue if something happens to my baby

@february2016, that "one pill" they gave you is probably diflucan and it is very dangerousness to take during pregnancy. I am shocked that a doctor would give you that. You are only supposed to use vaginal yeast infection medication while pregnant. If your doctor prescribed you diflucan or a generic of it (especially as a first means of treatment) you might want to look into finding a new doctor. (I only know all this bc I have an immune disease that attacks my skin and chronic yeast infections are part of it. I have had to learn way to much on the subject than I ever wanted to)

they are okay I am on antibiotics for my whole pregnancy due to reoccurring utis been on them since 7 weeks and will be until the end currently 28 weeks

I had that and took the pills me n baby r ok

I have a freaking yeast infection but I only had to take one pill and wait 3 days if it ain't gone then I gotta go back to dr.. ugh it sucks. im always more tired sence I took that pill last night

No our bodies are just doing so much that we have chemical imbalances some times. I've talked to my doctor about it because I had a bladder infection my first trimester and a bacterial infection my 3rd but she says it's very normal

I went to the emergency room bc I was having severe pain in my lower stomach thought something was wrong with the baby but I have a bladder infection they gave me microbid and I researched so much and called a few doctors bc I felt the same way !!! Apparently it's common in pregnancys though @deiona_mom2b16

It's not at all. those kind of infections like yeast infections and bacterial infections are very normal during pregnancy, not taking the medicine is more harmful
