When my first born I bleached my hair blonde and the. With jazzlyn I dyed it red, and with this baby I dyed it black. My first two kids turned out just fine

Since none of the dye or chemicals get into your bloodstream it's okay. It's just the breathing of the chemicals that is bad, that's why we say to keep the area well ventilated😊 @caitlynnrosee

Chemicals do go through your body (especially hair) into your bloodstream which carries to the placenta directly to your baby, it is a risk like anything else even nail polish and makeup- synthetic + chemical type have risks but hair is more touchy in that what you use on hair especially at the roots will seep into your bloodstream. This is a personal choice however I do recommend if you are going to dye your hair while pregnant to try using henna, it is a natural dye, no bad smell or chemicals, completely harmless, and very healthy for your hair and body.
