So I'm only 32 weeks and 3 days, is it bad for me to start bouncing on my exercise ball already?
that's really awesome to know. thank you so much! lol. I've been wanting to get on it because of all yhe pressure. I'm so tiny that it kinda hurts a lot more. and my feet are so swollen. I've just been scared. thank you!! @camdensmama
My aunt is a doula and it's perfectly safe and actually highly recommended! Her patients use them their entire oregnancys to help widen the pelvis. Relieve pains in the chest. Ribs. And back. Do stretches and exercises. Help flip baby if needed. Don't bounce too hard. Just light bouncing or swaying! If you're body isn't ready for labor bouncing lightly isn't going to kick start pre term labor. Your body will go into labor when it's ready so being on the ball isn't going to change that! (:
I would ask the dr, I was wondering the same thing because I get horrible back pain and I know it takes pressure off your back.
It can be good to get baby to flip too if you are breech. I wouldn't be vigorous but it's good for your hips
I'm not trying to induce, it helps me to stretch and when I do bounce, little lady stays away from my ribs.
honestly i would ask my doctor because i know most people do it to induce there labor an thats kinda early for baby 2 come
@adalynn1223, here's a good article for you to read as well. Just to familiarize yourself a little more! ссылка
