found out today that baby's head is finally in position, midwife said her head won't move around so her head is definately in my pelvis now and ready, but she's back to back. I've heard that giving birth to a baby that has their back against yours can make labour more painful and harder to push baby out, so there's more chance of an assisted or emergency c-section. is there anyone else that has been through this and is there any way I can get her to move so she faces the right way??? really wanna try make it easier for me so I don't find labour as hard.

thanks I feel alot better about it now. my mmidwife said it's probably why I could have been having lower back pain more and why I feel movements all over and not just on one side. I feel so much more better about her being back to back now, I was just so worried before @laa286 @mummytobe @babypuddick

my third labour was back to back, you get all pain in back and pushing can take a little longer but it can be different in every labour. my 8lb 10oz girl can out turning as I was pushing, but babies are also born with their faces looking up 😆 xx

I delivered Hayley who was back to back, I didn't know she was this way around until my contractions started so I don't know if there is a way to turn them...this being my first baby I have nothing to compare to but what I found was my contraction pain was all in my lower back, every time I had one my boyfriend would rub it for me... It took 3 and a half hours of pushing to get her out, I had to have an episiotomy but she was delivered naturally and safely so you don't always need a section or assisted birth. I hope this gives you some piece of mind that it's all okay if she doesn't turn, yes it was very hard to push her out out we got there eventually and I enjoy her everyday 💞
