Riddle me this... why did two sheriff officers come to my house saying they needed to search my house for narcotics with no warrant???? I don't do drugs, therefore not guilty, but um...I am totally not comfortable letting two LARGE man in my home who didn't show me any ID or a warrant... ok, ok, ok....so I was about to let them in my house until my fiance said if they didn't have a warrant than they we weren't obligated to let them in.

no warrant no show of id no entrance and I would call the police station just to make sure they were police!!

An officer is REQUIRED by law to show you proof of ID anytime you ask. You can ask ten times they have to show you. And you're never obligated to let them search anything without a warrant and you get the warrant not them show you and take it back you hold onto the warrant.

@momofroyalty, I was about to let them in but had to put my dogs up since they were going nuts. My fiance asked me who it was, so I told him. He went to the door, asked them for their warrant... They said they didn't have one...my fiance (who is from flushing, NY and very street wise..whereas I am from Hawai'i and NOT SO streetwise) told them without a warrant, they can't enter our home. The two sheriffs said ok and left without a word! WTH??

Yup . Never let them in unless they have a search warrant . And also a badge doesn't mean nothing . Ask them to show you their credentials , not their badge !! Anybody can get a badge !! My S/O is law Enforcement so he taught me that !! 💙💙😀😀

Thanks ladies. My fiance is getting ready to call the sheriff's department to find out what the deal is

yeah no joke that's scary!!! if they won't show you any kind of id or credentials it's NOT legit and you should immediately report them cause they could have just gone to the neighbors and done the same thing:/ @babyhawkins2015

yes becuae you never know anything could of happen from there police like that with no warrant no id come in plant something and then you and your fiance in jail
