called huggies today to get the DL on the baby wipes. they were so nice and explained everything. I had one wipe that had what looked like glue, not glass glue looked exactly like what the first lady to notice it said it looked like. I already knew it was probably because some of the fragrance beads melted (they smell amazing!!!) and thats what they said it was and that they are still safe and just to be sure rub it on yourself before you use it on baby. they offered compensation but I declined because they were perfectly fine and it was only on the top wipe I pulled two more out and they were both fine. it's strange how one woman noticed it then thousands of women noticed it!

yeah. people have been using them for a while then all of a sudden had issues but they still used them.

@firstbaby_girl, exactly, I've never had issues with any baby products from huggies why would they screw up now when they've been doing perfectly fine for years and years.

the only issue with buggies I have had are their diapers. . . it gives my son a rash..

Or maybe she just noticed before anyone else did, I have ALL huggies wipes and I looked closely at them in the light, and they did indeed have the same stuff she seen, except to me didn't feel like glass.

@kirstennmayo, Its not glass, I had the same thing and it looked like glue when it gets hard (it wasnt even glue, its actually only on the scented wipes, when they go through big temp. changes the fragrance beads can melt and its shiny.) but it didn't irritate my skin or cut it and they said they were safe to use and if they do irritate baby just call em and they'll compensate you for them. its good in some ways that it was noticed but it sucks that one woman is gonna give huggies a bad name and they're gonna lose out on a good product regardless of what some say about it. @mssjudyk, that usually depends on the sizes a friend of mine just uped the size they looked big on him but they were alot more comfortable and he didn't get a rash anymore.
@briandavisjr819, I love huggies my family loves em too. those and pampers. did you know that with every big box of pampers you get you get a free pack of wipes. lol that's one of the only reasons my SIL buys pampers lol.

he's 7 weeks old... I just switched him to a size one.. he broke out. I tried the toys r us brand and he's fine. . i wish his skin liked buggies... I have lots of them lol

@mssjudyk, poor baby, it sucks my cousin was always getting rashes with a certain brand of diapers I can't remember what kind it was feels like a million years ago he's ten now, I feel old lol. but he'd cry and scream cause of it, he was pitiful. Do you use disitin or a&d for him?
