Alright mommy's I need opinions. I'm a huge baby when it comes to pain, and have made the decision to have an epidural. However I keep hearing such good things about going it without. Any big baby's on here that have decided against an epidural?
i am a big baby and i had my daughter naturally. Yes it was painful but it doesn't last all day and after baby is out your body releases oxytocin which is like a shower of anesthesia. the way i saw it was.. theres still going to be pain so why risk getting other worse pain and complications and side effects from epidural? the pain will not be removed. but everyone is different.
I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad I got an epidural. I'm a huge baby when it comes to pain too and 3 hours into labor I was ready to scream my head off if I didn't get an epidural. I had 18 hours of (back) labor and I'm so glad I was able to coast through it. There is absolutely no way I could have done it without. I had even screamed 'I can't do this' when pushing my son out. But one more push and thankfully he was out! I have a very low pain tolerance and I'm 200% certain I'm going to get an epidural with my second. There is no way I'll go without.
I'm a huge baby with pain. I could barely handle them when the chart was saying they were small contractions. I'm glad I had mine because eventually my contractions went as high as they could on the chart and couldn't feel them once I had the epidural.
but i have a somewhat high tolerance for pain so this comment probably is invalid lol
I'm a big baby when it comes to pain, and I didn't get an epidural with my first at age 18. It was the best decision ever. I plan on doing it again with this one because my doctor informed me that an epidural could interfere with my seizure meds.
i thought it was going to hurt like hell. but nope. went 17 hours into labor before getting the epidural and the only reason i got it was so i could fall asleep lol.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
TWW!!

I will be 41 :/
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
With my first I had an epidural but for some reason the first one didn't take I had to get a second one which once they have it to me I was so happy but once I had my son for a month after birth I was unable to lift my head and was throwing up a lot with massive headaches which they call epidural headaches with my second I had her all natural not by choice she came really quick
