there's this thing about glass in the Huggies wipes.. is it true ?? i have a package of wipes and I'm not using them unless I know
Dont rely on internet hype. Call the company, get as much info as you can then make your own decision. Huggies is a major corporation and companies recall products all the time. If it was a safety hazard or potential lawsuit they would have recall. Look up the product ingredients and research the chemical components then inquire about it when you call
I checked mine and mine don't have it. Look at the video the lady did and she shows a batch number if yours is close to hers or is her batch number don't use them. My batch number was no where near hers. I still checked mine out tho. I tried them on my face as well to make sure.
No problem 😄 love giving mommies advise and congratulations on your blessing

A friend of mine did find tiny pieces inside of her wipes and posted about it on Facebook, Huggies are saying it isn't fiber glass but I'm not sure and didn't wanna take the risk! I wouldn't wanna use anything that has pieces just sitting on the wipes!
I'm not saying I agree with this mom who claimed there was glass I'm just saying that if you feel there can pose harm to your child then don't use them.
okay I will @motheroftwo22 thank you:) I still have a little time left but I wanted to make sure
Pampers wipes work great on my daughter but , every baby is different I would wait until Huggies company say its safe again . @booberry2015
my sister has used Huggies cucumber scented and loved them . so I don't think its a big deal . @mommieuhoh
Not true. They've released and official statement on their Facebook page. Just one Mom with a bad experience creating major hype. I feel so sorry for the company because this could really ruin their reputation and I love Huggies. Been in my family for decades.
As for those who claim it hurt their baby, Lots of babies react badly to different wipes. So seeing something shiny in combination with a baby rash had led to this crazy hysteria over huggies.
Mommies been saying its glass but , the company says its fiberglass that it won't harm the baby I loved using Huggies wipes with my daughter and was going to use it with my unborn baby boy but , since I saw that I'm not going to use them just to be on the safe side .
It's not actual glass. I heard it's the oils crystallizing because of temper change. I have tons of wipes and opened mine. Nothing was on them. I used them on myself lol
if in doubt throw it out. that's what I believe. if you are unsure of the whole situation with this huggies thing just go and exchange them.
No it isn't true. It's fragrance beads rising out of the wipes due to the intense climates changes of the wipes traveling to factory, truck, store, etc. if you find the shiny particles in the wipes (if they don't dissolve) you can pick it up and smell it and see it's a fragrance bead.
Here is the info and number ссылка
