Do not try to induce labor "naturally": I'm 38 weeks pregnant and never have I felt more uncomfortable, unbalanced, and in constant pain as I do now. I really want my baby here already because I want to meet him but also because I cannot wait to stop being pregnant. But as moms it is our duty to make sacrifices for our little ones, and your first sacrifice is to put yourself through the hassle of being pregnant for as long as your baby desires. Remember the longer the baby is in the womb, the longer his lungs and brain have to fully develop and mature. It is your duty as a mother to suck it up and be pregnant if at the end it benefits your child. No reason whatsoever is good enough to try to induce labor (unless of course there's a medical reason and your baby's health is at risk).

Before u become pregnant think of this
Do I want to be uncomfortable as hell for 40-42 weeks?
Do I want to be in horrible pain for up to 14-16 hours even longer
Can I handle pushing a big ass head through my vagina
Can I handle this with no pain meds(sometimes u can't make it in time)
Do I want to go to the hospital 10x before I'm actually in labor.
Because inducing your labor at 32-37 weeks for your own selfish needs or getting a csection to do it the "easy" way is just plain selfish and FYI a...
I cant stand when women that are less than 37 weeks , try to induce their labor becaise they are tires beimg pregnanh smn .. It's not my body or kid, but geeze, let the baby grow for a little while longer. If you are not 37 + please stop trying to go into labor , the baby isn't full term . And um not talking about if you're doctor schedules an induction .. I'm talking about trying to induce your own labor because you are "tired being pregnant".
it bothers me so much when woman try to induce labor before the baby is full term unless due to medical reasons. why would you want to risk any complications the baby may have for your comfort? its common sense pregnancy is uncomfortable. I mean I just dont get it
Organ donor
I was at the DMV today and I noticed that nobody... literally nobody said yes to being an organ donor when asked. It is really that uncommon? If you're not, what are your reasons for not being one? I am aware this is pretty taboo to talk about.
@cp, that is true. However, the next weeks after that the baby continues to mature his lungs and brain, he is still getting antibodies from you to protect against illness, they can suck and swallow better due to having advanced muscle development, the last few weeks allows them to get some extra fat that prepares them for the first days of life and helps regulate their own temperature, among many other reasons. I've done plenty of research in the topic since I at one point wanted to do all the things they recommend for inducing labor naturally.
