maybe just a real bad case of eczema ... you should ask his doctor to refer you to a dermatologist they can help you

@babygirl10-11 yes thats what i might have to do it does look like ezcema they gave me aquaphor they dont wanna gove him steroids cause he so small

My son has severe eczema. Start with switching his detergent to All Free & Clear as dreft is actually not recommended for sensitive skin. Make sure everything he touches (blankets, sheets, your clothes, etc.) are all washed in the same detergent. Also, he may not tolerate coconut oil if he has any allergies so olive oil and grapeseed oil are lifesavers. When you wash him, do not use soap unless you absolutely have to ( i.e. diaper blowouts). It will take a while for his skin to calm down if those are what's causing the irritation. The next step after this is food allergies, but hopefully that isn't the case. Feel free to message me. Aquaphor and Vaseline are possible irritants as well due to the petroleum. So it's best to avoid those. Moisturize with the oils immediately after a bath.
