brown discharge is completely normal. it's more than likely to begin more often now that you're getting farther along.

call a different hospital, but i understand why they aren't telling you much. technically they cant hive you a diagnosis over the phone because it could be complete opposite of whats going on & l&d is labor and delivery

So how would you get ahold of him if you went into labor at 3am? He should have after hours line. If you're not too worried then wait until the morning and call him then.
