how do u know when you lose your mucus plug mommies?

at 28 weeks I lost part of my mucus plug but the mucus plug reforms and rejuvenates.

it is super thick mucus. like super thick. it's greenish someone's with brown or red in it.

I lost my mucus plug at 34 weeks and I've lost it 3 or 4 more times since then and ill be 40 weeks tomorrow. My doctor told me it can just mean your cervix is changing and if you don't have the baby within a couple days a new plug grows.

From what I heard you can lose your mucus plus early and it can grow back you can lose it months, weeks or days before you go into active labor

maybe I'm just a bit over dramatic lol. I'm just over guessing myself

hopefully I will girl...but how will ik something I've never felt before ..how about this...I post on preggie and say I think I'm going in labor but I don't know how to tell lol. @theempresss

So was I girl ! It comes naturally. It sounds crazy but, seriously. You'll know. You'll just feel different.

how would I know? because I'm a ftm and I don't know how anything feels or what I should be feeling or what 😞

Don't worry too much about it. You will instinctively KNOW when you're about to go into labor! Lol

Oh..I never knew it can grow back...how early is too early to lose it

I was about 36.5 weeks when I lost mine. I gave birth at 38.

During my second pregnancy I have lost parts of my plug but not entirely. It'll 'regrow' itself if it's too early. And I went into labor 2 days after I lost my plug.

Mine looked like I had sneezed a big old gooey booger out of my vagina lol. I found it when I wiped after going to the bathroom. It literally just looks like a glob of mucus. It doesn't have to have blood though, mine didn't. I lost it 2 days before I went into labor. Google has some pics of mucus plugs. That might help you. It helped me.

Literally looks like boogies & sometimes you lose it over a course of 2-3 days, like I did :)

Your plug is gooey and has some blood in it. It's like a goo ball with some blood in it.
