Yes you need the folic acid. Without enough folic acid your baby could get spina bifida where a bubble forms on their back because the skin doesn't close properly. It could lead to your baby being paralyzed.

My OB is pregnant and she doesn't even take prenatals. The most important thing during prenatals is getting extra Folic Acid which is Vitamin B so maybe try taking a Vitamin B pill? Ask your OB first just in case but that's what my OB does and it's what she recommends to do if you aren't taking prenatals.

Yeah it's not going to hurt the baby. I haven't taken prenatals with either of my pregnancies because like you they make me sick, even doctor prescribed ones make me sick and gummies. You just need to eat good, aka don't eat junk 24/7 lol and like Karna said the baby take what it needs from you before your body does so you'll be fine!

they do say if you can't take them to do two flinstones vitamins and folic acid maybe that might work cause the flinstones are easier and the folic is round and small

no it wont but its best that you do so that everything the baby takes wilk be replaced.

No, just make sure you eat a well balanced diet so baby gets what baby needs. Remember baby is gonna take what it needs first before your body does
