Okay so I kind of have a TMI question. My doc suggested starting to insert evening primrose oil capsules to help things along... Was wondering if anyone had this and had a change in discharge? I got up to go pee this morning and saw this (pic in comments). My question is.. Is this normal to expect from the pills or is this part of my plug? It's almost got a greenish/yellow tint and is super thick and stringy. I've been slowly losing bits and pieces of what I thought was my plug here and there (before taking epo) and was wondering if the capsules were causing me to lose more plug and faster??

looks like your plug cause it's all mucusy but see what the other moms think cause I may be wrong

That's what I thought but maybe thought the oil had something to do with it as well :) do you think the epo is causing more of it to expel a lot faster?? I'm getting so excited to meet my little guy... My doc said he can come anytime just don't wanna get my hopes up for every little thing, ya know? ;p

I've never tried epo but you're not far from your due date so it can be the epo helping too

Yeah I've only got 18 days so my doctor suggested I try to start epo to see if it would help things along... Just hope it really is my plug and it means my son will be here soon! ☺️☺️

I never had a bloody show looked exactly like yours. I was in labor for barely 12 hours. I started laboring at 8 am and active labor didn't start till 1 pm and I had my son at 8:08 pm.

Wow! Were you dilated at all before you started losing your plug? I just had my apt yesterday but they didn't check my cervix so I'm not sure if I have progresssd or not

never made it to labor. I had my bloody show in pieces friday and saturday. but was sent to labor amd delivery to be induced on tuesday bc of complications. I was 1cm dilated tho.

got admitted to hospital... Loose 3 almost 4cm 50% effaced! Lost all of my plug at 2 cm
