I've never used Huggins and I am on baby #3, I stick with Walmart brand parents choice and haven't had a problem at all.

"It's not glass by the way and Huggies is just sending her a gift card to replace the wipes. The "glass shards" are just fragrance beads. They will not hurt baby and are safe.

Sometimes wipes are exposed to extreme temperature changes and it can cause the fragrance beads to seep out of the wipes. It could have happened in a truck, in the store or at her home. Not all wipes will be like that. It depends on what they were exposed to. If they don't have a scent to them the chance of this happening is zero, but because these wipes have a scent, it unfortunately happened. It will not hurt the baby, or irritate them unless they have allergies to fragrances.

They are exposed to extreme temperature change while being shipped from the factory to the stores. They travel by plane, by train, and by box truck. The cargo area under planes are not air conditioned. Neither are cargo cars on trains, or the back of a box truck. Then the wipes are transported into the back of a store into the air conditioning quickly and that is a huge climate and temperature change. It easily could have happened in that time. It wouldn't be something that would happen at home. It is something that happened in shipping and transporting.

It's 100% not glass. Glass and even fiberglass do not have the properties to be formed into a ball by just twirling them between your fingers.

Its very common during the summer months due to the extreme heat and ac being on full blast in stores. This isn't the first time someone has pointed it out."

@sgtpeppertheory, mine are fragrance free on the ones I found like stuff on so its not the fragrance ones ...

there are still soaps and moisture in them that can have what I posted above happen to them.
