Quick question can you drink wine and breast feed or will you have to pump and dump my child's father mother says you can drink and breast feed but she's an alcoholic ... And I will never let my child around her his sister told me to never let their mother baby sit for more than an hour and she has three kids lol

You can always buy the testing strips that see if you're good to feed. I heard if you're not tipsy/drunk then your milk is fine

I think you can have a little wine. I would keep it low... Maybe 4-6oz. And it wouldn't effect your milk. But I stopped breast feeing last Oct and I can't remember.

they have alcohol test strips you can buy . but if you can't buy them I would pump after you drink.

Pump and dump is only if you need relief from engorgement...very little alcohol passes through breast milk pumping doesn't get it out faster. If you have a glass of wine (4-6oz) or a beer say at dinner you just need to wait 1-2 hr and your body will process it out and like everyone said of you can always buy the test strips

I heard you would have to drink a whole bottle of wine before it effects your milk but idk lol
