this may be a stupid question but I'm a ftm so I have no idk....but how fast can u go from not bring open to dilated???? I recently went to l&d due to thinking I broke my water one doctor said I was 1cm another said I wasn't open yet...but my contractsions are 8 to 10mintues and the pain I have in my vagina is killing me hurts to walk but if I'm not even open as one doctor said I don't wanna go and its a false alarm....is it possibly I could have opened up from the l&d visit?

It's possible. I went from 2-10 in 30 mins with my first pregnancy. But you can also stay at a certain amount of centimeters for weeks or even a month or so.

okay thank u this pain just is so terrible idk what to do to stop it...I've tried a bath and nothing its so M😴uich pressure and now its making its way to my butt 😑😑😑 @queendavis

I moved from 1 to 3 in 24 hrs, then 3 to 9 in 1 hr. it all depends on you. I know it hurts, but do your best to relax, it'll help alot

did ur water break before or during that??? @babygirl10-11 I know u get pains towards the end but theses pains hurt and feel so much worse then BH but my water hasn't broke yet so my husband says its nothing

yes it broke my contractions started at 10pm my water broke at 1230am had my baby at 125am
