Random Thought: im really looking forward to breastfeeding avery..i tried it with my first two children and i hated it..but this time im determined to stick to it...what is you ladies Thoughts/experiences with Breast feeding? how long did you do it?

it certainly has its moments. wont deny that. but if you can make it past the first 6w it gets better. imo.

It took three months for the actual pain to go away. If you can get through until the third month you should be good. It's tough leading up to that though. I know not everyone experiences this but ugh I felt this lightening pain down to my toes plus my nipples were in bad shape but they healed and it was much better as time went on.

I wanted to quit in the beginning but now I love it. My lactation consultant is a great help! Every time i see someone wanting to give it up I just want to encourage them. It is truly a blessing to be able to give your baby such a special gift. It's a great bonding experience too. When I stopped breastfeeding in the beginning I cried because I missed the bond I had when I was. I am so happy I tried again and my baby was a pro at it!
