Do you have to have a joint checking account with your SO? Or can you survive without one.

My SO's family has had some cheating family members in the past and he thinks we don't need one, he wants to prevent himself from loosing everything he worked hard for which I understand but at the same time I'm not that kinda of person bc I also have had some family members played on the same way. No rude comment please

Well I've told him I'm not one to hurt him like that but with his parents divorce his mom screwed his dad over pretty bad and he thinks if we did a joint checking account and we divorced then I'd get everything in the account I told him that's not how it works but he thinks his money is his and we split the difference when's bills come up. I mean I love him to death but he is 2 years younger then me, we're not married but we talk about it and this is one that's starts the fire

My husband and I haven't really talked about it... I stay at home, so whenever I need anything or want anything or the kids need anything, he gets it for us. But I have never had a bank account.. Maybe I should talk to him about possibilities.

My ex-husband and I had one that we shared, it made paying bills way easier and you can manage your money more responsibly. Then when we separated I signed myself off the account, very simple. As long as your relationship is ready to share something like money, go for it! We both kept personal ones, as well, from before the marriage so we still had some independence, just something to keep in mind.

my husband and I share you. You are now one so there should be no problem. If he trusts you enough then he shouldn't have a problem with sharing one.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

At What Age Should a Child Make Their Own Breakfast?

Make your own breakfast! At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.
