having a really hard time tonight. been tryimh not to cry all day and now the tears just won't stop.

i think it's just hormones over reacting. everything is bothering me and i feel like all i am is a diaper changer if that. my in laws and parents are smothering my son to the point where dad and i dont even get to hold him. we live with my parents temporarily so the in laws want us over or come over almost every day and if i can't or don't feel up to it they get depressed and tell my hubby its not fair. then at home my parents are all over him. ive had my baby for less than a week and i think besides feeding have held him for maybe 3 hrs. to top it all off, My dr just told me to stop nursing for a few days bcuz he is jaundice so now i don't get to even feed him bcuz they can. im trying to not me selfish but i feel so detached from my own baby :'(

hormones do make everything worse. and you should take your baby somewhere so you could spend as much time alone as you want that day. and tell your hubby to defend you and not to give in. it's your baby and you should be able to hold your baby whenever you want and do what you want. I'm so sorry that you're unable to bf cause of baby having jaundice. I hope it gets better.

i hope he does get better. if its clearing up by sunday then we can go back to breastmilk and just give him some pedialite in between. im gonna talk with him tonight and tell him that its affecting me too much. hopefully he will understand. @firstbaby_girl
