i think my daughter was about 5 or 6 months

Pretty sure my son was around 7 months old when he was able to sit up on his own.

@lilleeandbrantley, I do not. I did buy him a booster chair that's for 4 months and up. so I'm hoping that helps

My daughter is 5 months and can't sit up. I say she's just lazy though 😂 every baby reaches milestones at different rates it's really easy to stress yourself out.

My son sat up at 6 months then right after he started crawling all babies are different

4.5 months I think she started. she can sit by herself for about 30 Mon at the max then gets mad and falls over. to help them sit up better I would sit them between your legs so they have your support at first

Correction, he was 6, about to be 7 months. Using the boppy helped, but I also had one of those medical beds that raised up so I would have the head part of the bed up a lot and that may have helped him. Either way, I think 6-8 months is the average for sitting up.
