ladies I need a option. it breaks my heart that it's time for me to go back to working overnights but Sadie needs new toys! she is ebf and will not take a bottle. but if you squirt a little in her mouth she will drink it! she sleeps from about 1030 to 7-7:30am so there would only be maybe 1 feeding while I was gone! could my bf just syringe feed her til I got home? or does that have hidden problems waiting to happen!

I was actually reading that that's a way to kind of introduce ebf babies to bottles because it shows them that milk comes from other places other than from us lol

@kainesmadre, we've tried 3 different kinds of bottles and she just doesn't get it and she won't even take a pacifier. so I wasn't sure if a syringe feeding would be alright well actually it's a bottle nipple from the hospital

my son is the same way he'll just bite in the nipple I've looked up all types of information on how to get him to take a bottle & I saw that. I've also tried all kinds of bottles but he just doesn't like them at all he uses a pacifier to bite on only as well lol but yeah she should be okay with the syringe feeding I don't think it really matters as long as she gets to eat you know? by now she should have no nipple confusion

@kainesmadre, yes she bites the bottles like viciously. he'd probably only have to give her like 1 Oz to hold her over til I got home. if his alarm doesn't wake her up she'll sleep til 730 and I should be back by then. I'm just nervous plus having to be away about 2 days for the orentation oh and a interview ughhhhh I don't wanna at all
