For those who crochet... What's a good brand of yarn?

bernat is real soft♡ and easy to work with

or ored heart is good too but i think that would be used more for like adult blankets

i just finished a baby blanket with ored heart but felt it was a little heavy lol so im starting one with bernat i liked this one better so much softer in my opinion @ak16 just walk around and feel all of them pick ur favorite (:

Sounds like a plan I think I've felt the bernat kind before my mom make a baby doll blanket once and it still super soft after 10 years lol I hope it's the same kind @tattie

I like 'I love this yarn" from hobby lobby it's nice and soft and not crazy expensive

though it takes some getting used to its kinda slippery but after like 5 min you don't notice anymkre

@tattie, one question how much yarn for an infant blanket on average, I don't wanna not buy enough yarn then need to try and find more

"I love this yarn" is my favorite.

I'm not sure how much you need, but there may be some books near the yarn where you can get an idea of how much yarn they use for baby blankets. And what size hook.
