did you give yur LO a sponge bath the first wk home ?

@jrsmommy, the only time I "cleaned" was when he pooped...and some got on his penis...and even then I rinsed off the wipe with water and was super careful. I didn't clean it anymore than I had to.

@mrs.blackmon I'm like I jus keep putting Vaseline on him I wanna clean it but I don't want nunin to go wrong ..

@jrsmommy, I understand girl. it was a hard 7 to 10 days for us...well me. after a few days he didn't care anymore but I felt so bad every diaper change.

@jrsmommy, yes I put alot on there I was scared if I didn't put enough it would stick to the diaper...so I put alot. and once it was healed I gave him a good bath.

I didn't get my son's penis wet after his circumcision..if I remember correctly it could like sting so his doctor told us not to

let it air dry

you could probably drizzle a little water on his wee wee but that's about as far as I'd go.

I'd just wipe down with a wet wash cloth no soap. not a soaked one. as infants they don't really need full on baths very often.

I don't remember what they said about the circumcision. you should ask the dr office. it's been 10yrs since my boss were born lol.
