well I'm 40 weeks and one day! lol. baby girl is too big to let me go any further so today at 4 we will start the induction process. :) Doc told me that I will probably have at the least an 18 hour labor....eeeeek. Any goodies and important items I should take in my mommy bag?
if u do take something comfy and soft, just make sure it's easy access to boobs (in case u plan on breastfeeding)
if your hospital is any similar to mine you'll mostly should be doing lots of skin to skin so the comfy outfit would mainly be for when u have visitors...
honestly I was mostly naked lol. we didn't have many visitors. . And my boobs hated that nightgown. ..
your boppy pillow, a comfy pillow. .. something to wear after you give birth instead of that night gown, something comfy and soft lol and a pair of sandals if u have any. you can take a shower there so, u can maybe take your shampoo, conditioner, lotion, body wash, toothbrush, hair ties. something comfy for your hubby to wear..
maybe down loading some new games to your phone to pass some time..
Mine was 24 hours with my first :/ bring cards, movies, anything that makes you comfortable:) but there will be a lot of passing time and then once it starts to hurt you can do epidural and sleep till showtime.
If you have a pregnancy pillow id bring it big help for comfort and keep open mind for epidural distractions are key with the pitt i didnt start getting hit hard till my family left for the night once i got my epidural at midnight i went from 4cm-10cm in 3hrs
bring POPSICLES. AND JELLO. they let you eat them but the ones at the hospital are absolutely gross. they taste like medicine😢
snacks, charger..
