LONG SORRY! Mistake or not?

I know it's not my business, but I grew up with a father who was physically abusive with my mother and witnessed for years as a child, so anything that involves men belittling women makes me cringe.. Well I heard a man yelling outside my apartment, a girl crying, and kids screaming... Come to find out a man was abusing this woman outside of my apartments. I couldn't help but put my nose in and run down there to find out which apartment it was coming from without them seeing me, I got the number and called the police.. And let them know as well, and being 9 months pregnant ran up the stairs as fast as I could, i don't think he seen me.. I'm just worried maybe one of the neighbors seen me threw the peep hole and what if someone tells him where i live? I haven't told anyone around here where I live nor bothered to make any friends due to me not feeling comfortable in my neighborhood. But I can't help but feel like what I did was wrong and I endangered my child and I, but I can't stand to hear or see men abusing women! Ughhhhh. I'm nervous... And I don't even want to get out unless my SO is home with me..
