My cousin was born with aids his mother contracted it when she became pregnant... However he has a wife and 2 children and neither of them have it.

I have HIV and thank God my boys do not have it! I pray that my baby girl don't get it. I take my meds daily. so I know me and her have a fighting chance!

I wonder how that works... why doesn't the baby get it? I've always been curious. . hope u don't mind the question

@mssjudyk, cause i take my meds which help it from crossing over to the baby and during the birthing process. they also induce you and give you 4 hours of meds through IV before inducing labor. but I have to make sure to take my meds and go to all doctors visits.
