It depends if they do a 3d/4d. Chances are they won't give you a definite but a good guess ia likely.

@california12632, sometimes the cord can get in the way and the tech will say its a boy and it can be a girl there's a lot or her little private areas can be swollen and also be mistaken for a boy . we thought my brother was a girl until my mom was in her 3rd trimester .

@california12632, but sometimes you can get lucky when I got my ultrasound at 13 weeks they said baby was a girl and at my 22 week ultrasound baby was still a girl :).

I had an elective ultrasound !! I paid $60 for a package & they told me it was a boy!! & when I went to my 20 week ultrasound they confirmed it again 😃😊 I just wanted to know I couldn't wait ! 😁 @california12632

Biology, when the sex organs are beginning to form babies start off with a female template, based on the x and y chromosomes this will cause the ova?(the bulb of the vagina) to grow into a penis or continue developing as a girl, however other factors can play into the changing of the sex such as if your baby was meant to be a boy but your zinc supply was limited or the testosterone levels were dropping the baby could then revert to a girl, same with if you originally were going to have a girl but you had a testosterone wash that increased your zinc supply the baby could then develop into a boy.
