You as well since yours is before mine lol @aprilcgutkopf
A lot do it's normal I forgot the percentage my doctor told me, I didn't get tested with my first but I got the meds anyways in case, with my second I was positive and I just got the IV and I really forgot about the whole thing, they should have a pamphlet you can read ask next time you go
I tested positive for my first baby but not with my last two
Is it true that my most pregnant women are positive for it? @ak16 @peppermintmama
If you're talking about the Strep B test it's because there is a kind of bacteria that many people harbor in their intestinal tracts. The bacteria may also inhabit in your vagina as well, and be passed on to your baby during labor and birth. They'll swab you and if you have it they will give you medication when your labor starts to hopefully keep it from being passed onto the baby. When I was pregnant with my son I did lots of research on everything! Lol Hope that helps :)
they swab your vagina and rectum . but like @babygirl10-11 said do not Google it I scared myself and It didn't even go that way .
not all doctors do the rectum tho I've been tested 3 times and never had my butt swabbed lol
lol wait the rectum too,? my doctor just did the vaginal one @peppermintmama
They'll swab your vagina and if your positive your receive meds through an IV no biggie
yea what @ajmommy2015 said they will swab it and if its positive they will give you antibiotics during labor tru a iv ..... & what ever you do DON'T I repeat DON'T google it you will only scare your self
Your vagina and your rectum :) then if you are positive before delivery you will be administered antibiotics.
Basically they will swab your throat and test from strep .
