since my cervix is pretty thinned and dilated when I go in for my induction I don't need to prep my cervix first before…

I hope my labor is that short this time around @momma_lazarus hopefully being a 4 I can jump to a 5cm soon enough and go from there lol

see I hate the hunger pains when you are pregnant! I was thinking the same..if anything happens today or tomorrow I'll be eating first, no telling how long labor will take .my first was 21hours! 😫 @ce5ce

@mommy221, yessss matter of fact eat if you even think you might go to the hospital. I cried because I just went that day to see if my water broke (it wasn't) but they still kept me and I was in the middle of eating a juicy watermelon. I couldn't take it with me because my boyfriend is allergic😢 I was so hungry😰

yes. if I don't go into labor on my own b4 than.. I'll make sure I try to sleep Tuesday away lol. oh and eat alot Tues😋 @ce5ce

awesome!!! you can do this. I know its exciting but try to squeeze as much sleep as possible you'll thank yourself later

They weren't too bad for me in the beginning. They did have to turn the pitocin way down for me because I was contracting faster than I was dilating. I didn't get an epidural till I was about 5cm though. That's when my contractions got pretty bad for me. I was in labor for a total of 8 hours. After they broke my water I delivered my son about 2 hours later. It took me 10 minutes to push is all and he was my first baby.

@mommy221, i didn't start feeling them until halfway through my delivery. I started my induction at midnight and didn't feel anything until 8am and I had her at 3pm. they broke my water at 10cnt because they didn't check me that much because I didn't want them to

I'll be 41 weeks tomorrow. but get induced Wed at 8am. when pitocin started how bad were contractions? and when do they break your water? @momma_lazarus @ce5ce

I got induced because I had preeclampsia I was 38 weeks along. @mommy221

I was started like this. they started the pitocin on the lowest dose and gradually upped it. I was 3cnt dilated 75%thinned out. it was a regular delivery. no complications

I was 2cm and like 90% effaced. I was nervous too but don't be! I worked myself up for no reason! I'm sure you'll do great :) @mommy221

I was induced with my son that way about 6 months ago. I had no issues at all and my labor was smooth, fast, and super easy!!
