Has anyone ever had sex before 6 weeks PP? They say you can get an infection, but I'm thinking of just buying condoms.…

Well you wouldn't effect a tear but if you labored at all your hips still widened with sections the remove your organs to get the baby out then put them back it can take awhile for them to shift back into place. If you feel ready the least you should do it call your doctor

Biggest issue is you don't know if you're healed or not. I thought I healed by week 3 due to not being in pain and my stitches gone. By week 6 I was advised I still had internal tearing that wasn't healed was givin two more weeks and told to come back at week 8. At week 8 I was still not healed and given two more weeks. At week 10 I was finally healed. I had felt fine for 7 weeks but was still internally torn. Just cause you feel fine doesn't mean you are and not waiting can cause a lot more damage then you think. You could potentially cause damage that's not even there now causing your wait to be even longer
