📢LABOR STORY📢 it was 8/13/15 at 11:30 pm that my water raptured whole I was watching Blue Bloods. Earlier that day I was doing squats and bouncing on the exercise ball trying to induce my labor. I was having leakage until 2 AM and labor & delivery told me to come in. They have me a room around 4am and started my IV with the anti-biotics. I was still having bareable contractions around 9am so , they gave me breakfast told me that'll be the last thing I eat and drink , about a hour 1/2 later they started started pitocin . I was only 1 and 4cm for the whole day/night didn't dilate anymore. Nurses then told me when my baby head dropped she didn't drop all the way into my cervix and she was head down face up. I had my epidural put in , they gave me a fetal electro scalp monitor and IED. They tried all these funky laying positions to try to get her to come down more but , they were making her heart rate drop everytime they put me on oxygen. They said I was going to have to have a csection because nothing was working. They didn't want to keep checking for dilation because I was high risk for infection I was going to give in because I was in soo much pain I was going to ok the Csection. Hours went by I prayed and prayed the nurse checked me I was 9 1/2 cm dilated. I told her can I try pushing , she said yes. So I started pushing , I still had the oxygen on and my epidural wore off and a hour later or so at 7:59 she was born . 8 lbs 9 oz I now know I can do anything in the world cause that was the most painful thing I've ever endured ! I'm happy to be her mama & I'm glad she's ok .

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
