@winterbaby95, @mrss the hospital that removed my eptopic told me to go back and do the same. and it came up positive then I went to see a nurse who specialises in misscarriage and said that they didn't wait long enough for the test to show up and that they were wrong for telling me I had a misscarriage without giving me a scan I have a scan book tomorrow now to find out if it's an eptopic. only thing worrying me is that I should be 7 weeks tomorrow why would clear blue only say 1-2 weeks??

I would just take in a clear blue test to show them that you are pregnant. That is what I did. They didn't make me do one of theres. Also there's don't read low amounts of HCG. They aren't as sensitive. So I would go back when your test says 2-3 or 3+ :) And then you should get a positve on there test. @ceecee190

my husband just said go back to the doctor with a sealed pregnancy test bring the old ones and take it once ur there. then demand you want test done. in regards to them saying you have misscarage you u bleed or anything for them to say that

@xxtxx, I need to bloody see your gp because I've been walk in and hospital and they won't help. I have a new doc and I see him on Thursday so I hope he will help me 😟

@mrss I've been to the hospital yesterday hun, they sent me away because my test was negative. I asked why my tests are positive and they said they don't know but theirs is negative. thank you hun I really appreciate it xx

I also had an ectopic pregnancy in March this year, my gp sent me straight for a scan to see if this pregnancy was in the right place. You are at higher risk of another ectopic if you have had one previously, I would insist on seeing another doctor and getting referred. As you probs know all too well hcg that is slow rising is an indication and can only be measured by blood test. They need to establish that it isn't ectopic one way or another. Have you not got an EPU that you can self refer too hun?? x

Go to a walk in clinic or ask to speak to another gp at your surgery as you're not happy with his care. alternatively call your local community midwives and make a booking in appointment because you're obviously pregnant xx

@tuftyturtle, he really is I even asked him for a blood test and he said blood tests and urine tests are the same 😬 and didn't give me one!

@mummytobe, I've had an eptopic pregnancy in may. my hormone level went down after the misscarriage and tests cane back negative even my blood test. the doctor was trying to say that they can go back up if I have left over tissue still there. but after he tested he said there is no tissue but don't know why my hormones are going back up

@zeld Thanks so much 😊, I've had alot of people saying that having a positive on clear blue is good so I guess I just have to play the waiting game 😤

@mrss, I'm really sorry for your loss x that sounds like such as stressful time. I'm glad they found out that it was positive it because it's the worse thing when docs are telling me I've misscarried when I know I havnt I've had an eptopic already in may just gone so I can't afford another 😧

I would say that you're pregnant. Your doctor is a prat. my doctor doesn't even test. They don't event see us when we say we're pregnant. They just give us the midwife number. I would just take the tests and ask for a blood test if your doctor must see it for himself.

After my miscarriage I was told to test myself 3 weeks later because my hcg levels were sky high , all tests I did came back positive, this happened for just ove a month.. They worry when levels are so high after miscarriage just incase it's an atopic pregnancy

it depends on the sensitivity of the test and the quality of the urine specimen. first morning urine is normally more concentrated so the hcg (pregnancy hormone) is more likely to be picked up... also pregnancy tests test at different miu of hcg. your average Internet/poundland cheapie tests at 15-20miu clearblue are quite a bit higher and it depends what test your gp uses. hcg should double every 24-36hrs so tray again in a day or two and the previous negative tests should be positive 👍

if you've got a positive on a clearblue digital though, that's a good sign as they often show negative if you test very early. congrats seem to be in order 😀

this happened to me 2 yrs ago the hospital too 2 test and said I wasn't pregnancy (worse timeing as my dad unexpectedly pass the night b4) I took a test when I got how it was positive and when to a different hospital and it was positive

I would try a different doctor as well

It might be to soon to test but it can also be a false negative
