I personally wouldn't. BUT people often drink the odd glass of wine during pregnancy. It's only VERY recently that they've started saying no alcohol. The guidelines have always been moderate...like one glass every now and again

I dont drink but i was told that up to a glass of wine a day its fine. Dont worry you baby wont even feel that sip :) x

I had literally a sip and my boyfriend is making it seem like I had a whole glass of vodka to myself. I would never do anything to harm my baby and I no alcohol isn't advised in pregnancy I'm not stupid. my boyfriend is basically making me out to be a bad person for having a tiny bit of alcohol. I've not long turned 18 like my boyfriend and I haven't had any alcohol for ages it's rare that I drank it before I got pregnant.

I had a few glasses of coke and Tia Maria at the start of my pregnancy before I found out I was pregnant and I have a perfectly healthy baby cooking away inside me so don't worry yourself at all. A tiny little drop isn't going to harm him. Just remember back in the day they used to drink and smoke everyday and there babies turned out fine. Your boyfriend is over reacting! Xx

my family planning nurse actually told me that a glass of wine here and there isnt bad, as long as ur past 16 weeks. i wouldn't suggest going out and getting wrecked, but one sip really won't hurt bubba. i went out for a night out in February and got totally and utterly drunk - 3 days later i found out i was pregnant 😐 i felt terrible (even though i didnt know at i was pregnant at the time) x

Lol :) In a leaflet I have. It doesn't tell you, you can't have Alcohol during pregnancy :) It just says to limit yourself to 2 units a week. Something like that :) You will be fine xD

thanks everyone I knew there was nothing to worry about and my mum even said it won't do any harm what so ever with the amount I had. my boyfriend is just very over protective and worried about everything.....
