So when my baby is born, we will be living with family which includes 3 younger kids (4 and under) that are not vaccinated. Is there anything in particular I should be concerned about or any shots they should take being around a newborn?

Dtap is the most important you don't want the baby getting whooping cough anyone that will be the baby or taken care of the baby should get one

Мама троих детей, ждёт четвёртого

you should be concerned just in general about any of them.. vaccinations where made to help us not hurt us.. it's so dumb not to get vaccinated.. if you can find other living arrangements it would be better honestly

Unvaccinated children are not diseased-laden lepers that should be avoided at all costs. This stigma seriously needs to go. In fact, most of the time, unvaccinated children are much more healthy because their immune systems have developed naturally and have not been compromised by the destruction of the gut flora that vaccines are being shown to do. I refuse to get into a huge debate about this, so anyone that disagrees can respectfully do so.

Thank you @treaganmommy2015 ! I knew this post would cause some disagreements so I was hoping just to hear about any major things I needed to be aware of😊 I am aware of the pros and cons of vaccinations @aphrodite2014 and the kids are actually my siblings who are all very healthy...and @mamalamadingdong yes I agree and I hope that's not what I came across as saying, just wanting some opinions on any shots that may be good for them to have being around the baby.

My daughter during her first few rounds of vaccines: skin anomalies (body always covered in unexplainable, undiagnosed rashes), random high fevers at any given time, always sick with colds, constant eye infections. As soon as the doctors wouldn't give us answers about her skin reactions, I started looking elsewhere for answers. We stopped vaccinating. Months after stopping the vaccinations (we were planning just to delay until she was older at that point), she got healthy. No more skin reactions, no more fevers, no more sickness... nothing. Two years later (present) she is a powerhouse. She literally NEVER gets sick. Not even a cold. I build her immune system the way nature intended it to be done. And guess what? My not fully vaccinated child was at Disneyland during the measles "outbreak." Her vaccinated cousin got it, but she did not. They were there around each other. Think about that!

@mamalamadingdong I'm open to any opinions honestly! Because I'm still not completely convinced which is best. I think they definitely both have pros and cons. My stepmom chose not to vaccinate and the kids are fine, my mom chose to spread out the vaccinations for her kids and that also seemed efficient. I mainly was just wondering if there was a major vaccine like the one @reaganmommy2015 mentioned that might be a good thing to look into.

Well, dtap is pretty controversial, so like anything you're putting into your baby's body, I'd suggest getting your hands on all the info you can from both sides. I had my family get it to protect my baby from whooping cough because I was scared, too. However, my mom ended up getting recurring pneumonia and now, COPD and her nurse highly speculates it was because she had gotten the dtap. But we will never know. The major issue right now that is circulating about the dtap is that it is actually causing the illness and those contracting it are the ones who are vaccinated. There are a lot of news stories on this, just google it if you're interested. I'm not trying to talk you out of it, either. Just give you a view on the other side. That's great you are keeping an open mind, many people refuse to believe otherwise. Especially those that have had some medical training. Those are typically the ones who are very pro-vax, even though they have absolutely no training in immunology, virology or neurology. When you work for any medical company, most will adopt those views and suddenly claim they see the horrors of kids not being vaccinated. Anyways, lol. That's my spiel for the day.

Also, if you do want some of the more reliable resources to research, I'd suggest googling: Nurses Against Mandatory Vaccines (namv.org), National Vaccine Information Center, Vaxtruth.org. There are many others, but these are the more credible ones in the community. Documentaries to check out: Bought, Trace Amounts and One More Girl. :)
