So I accidentally discovered 'milk' coming from my breast. It was just a little liquid. Just googled it and came across the term 'colostrum.' Is it time to buy nursing pads?
P.s. It feels weird
@modifiedmermaid, well my S.O. will be disappointed--but I won't!
I just experienced colostrum for the first time as well and went to the docs today. My doctor said try to refrain from touching the nipples or anyone else touching them. The more you touch, the more they leak.
I'd keep some pads on hand. try not to stimulate your nipples can cause labor in case you didn't know.
If you do start leaking a lot of invest in milkies milk savers. They're pricy but catch the leaking milk/colostrum and you can freeze it for baby later. Colostrum is the best thing it's basically the highest concentration of antibodies and nutrition baby will ever get so if you leak you can save that for when baby gets sick later on and they'll heal up so much sooner
You could buy a few but if it's only when you squeeze then you're fine to go without
@amber only when I give a bit of a squeeze does anything come out. I just didn't want to be caught off guard once it does start leaking.
if its actually leaking out you may want to get some so you dont end up with a wet bra or clothes
TWW!!
2dpo and on the tww journey. Anyone on the same dpo or close? Haven't decided if I will test at 12dpo or just wait and see if she shows up!!
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
