would u let a friend or relative breastfeed your baby or would u breastfeed someone else baby? explain your answer?
@junesmommy15, that's funny I told my husband that I would like my four years old drink some from a cup of course if she wants to try it but he said that's just worried lol
@mssjudyk, @junesmommy15 @kmally thanks for ur comments
I remember reading that Halle berry breastfed an African baby when she visited Africa and everyone was freaking out
the only way I'd let someone else breastfeed my son is if i were completely broke and basically homeless.
I would breastfeed someone else's baby in the same situation I described above.
I'm a breast milk donor. I will pump for someone else's baby. I don't think I wouldn't actually nurse their child at the breast because I know I don't want anybody else nursing my baby. I let my two year old niece drink my milk in a cup and my sister was grossed out but my niece loved it.
I have pumped and donated before but I haven't wet nursed another baby. In an emergency situation I definitely would.
I feel you on the bonding part but your baby will know it's not you. At least I hope so lol
I totally feel you about the jealousy thing. I probably would be too. But I'm sure I'd get over it. Baby will always know I'm her mommy and bonding is in every moment you have with the child, not just breastfeeding. :) plus you can still have skin to skin anytime! I'd probably do that- skin to skin while bottle feeding pumped milk somebody donated. Then I get the most out of it since it's not coming from my booby.
yeah I don't know if I could do it then. @edomke
@edomke, @thereallittlecountry @trezelle @bria.k lol I meant jealous of the bond between that person and my child.
Ya I mean personally if my child really needed it I would. The girl my coworker pumped for kept losing weight off of formula and was seriously at risk for not surviving and luckily she had a big supply so she pumped for her. But she had to do extremes like no dairy and gluten free. I can't imagine lol
@thereallittlecountry, @trezelle @bria.k @edomke I think that I would really have to know a person in order to breastfeed my child becus I would be just of the bond. but i would consider receiving pump milk. I wouldn't care about breastfeeding someone else child or pumping for another child if they needed it.
wet nurses have been around forever, for women who couldn't (and I have to assume, wouldn't) breastfeed themselves. it's not strange at all!
Well in light that most moms give their babies the milk of another mammal I don't see why I wouldn't take breast milk from another human mom.
I would definitely feed another baby or pump and give them my milk. I'd be happy that somebody could trust me that much and that they'd want the best for their baby. Same the other way around. Breast milk is so much better than formula, of course I'd take milk donations! People think it's weird but at least we're both humans. It's more weird to drink cows milk but that's become the norm lol.
Well my coworker pumped her breast milk for her friend for her baby. But it was for major medical issues the baby had. I personally would pump for someone for one if I had a huge supply and two if they medically needed it I would pump or let them feed off of me. I don't know if I would want my son to do it but if he medically needed it I would
Would u allow male ob deliver your baby

Do you (or would you) allow someone else to wear your baby?
Would you rather your baby have a common name or an unusual name? 🤔

Mamas,
What's your favorite baby name👶🏽 We're working on a new blog post and would love your opinions. What's your favorite name? Please reply in the comments below and your responses may be included!

lol people are funny about breast milk. My sister was going crazy!! She really went crazy when my niece asked for more lol. I plan on giving my child breast milk until he's 4. I'll just give it to him in a cup by then unless he doesn't want it, which I doubt very seriously.
