Has anyone ever asked to be induced by a certain day? With my first child I was induced 3 days…

When I was 11 my mom asked me what I wanted for my birthday and I told her I wanted to share a birthday with my brother who was due a week after my bday, she asked to have her c-section that day and they gave it to her so my brother and I now share birthdays, inducing should be the same. But every doctor is different.

I say every doctor is different though because my girls are 3 years apart and were do the same day but my doctor was c-sections during the week so she wouldn't do my c-section on the Sunday (birthday) of my daughter so now they are June 25th and June 29th lol

Oh ok yeah I know c sections are kind of different. Like if I knew I had to have a c section then they would probably schedule me for that day if I asked. But I plan on having him the normal way hopefully and I just didn't know if they would? I guess I'll just have to ask him when I go to my next appointment! And awe how sweet is that!!! 😊 @ak16

Hopefully they let you i was induced with my first but ended up needing an emergency c-section and it was a random decision by my doctor to induce that day but I'm sure if you give them enough notice then they will 😊
