So this is my sons car seat, and I need to figured out a way to make a more secure head supporter. the little mickey mouse head is what it is but I know for a fact it won't stop his head from bouncing around. I'm 37 weeks today so I need to know if anyone has had this problem and did you put more padding or did you just buy a completely new one. BTW I have OCD so if I have to buy a new one it has to match lol
@juliagail09 @momtobe092015 I've looked for 2 days on all different types of sites. Still no luck lol I found one on ETSY but it's $20 so I wanna see what others have done before I waste that and buy that when I could do what someone else does @mickbaby and I know I've heard that too but it doesn't look like it would support much but I'll give it a try, thank you :) @amber.s95 okay thank you :) @mrs.mercado yeah My sister did that with her daughter so I'll probably give that a try as well. Thank you :)
I just went on the tour at the hospital im delivering at and they told us not to buy the bigger head supports because theyre a suffocation hazard. They told us that the best thing to do is to roll up a receiving blanket and tuck it under the support the car seat comes with.
I rolled burping blankets up and tucked them in my sons side so how head and body we're comfy the car seat I got had a headrest that was so thin.
They say you should only use what comes with the car seat because that's what's been tested with it-I just had a car seat safety class last Friday but maybe there's something from the car seat company?
look on amazon for headrests. walmart has some but im not sure how well it would mtch. but you could always chech it out. 😊
@cvc2010 thank you so much 😊💕
