Did anyone find out the gender using the blood work? Was it right?
The test also checks for genetic abnormalities. Did not want anything invasive like the amnio. Some insurance don't pay for it and out of pocket is expensive. I was willing to pay out of pocket but luckily my insurance covered 100%. I highly recommend it
@reddmeg2010, I did the panorama blood test also know as the harmony/NIPTs at 12 weeks and found out the sex and it was 100% accurate. Sono confirmed weeks later.
I found out we were having a boy through that test. It was confirmed at 18.5 weeks through ultrasound. My understanding is that they are able to separate your blood from baby's to determine sex.
I think the blood test results are more accurate than an ultrasound. there also a small chance the ultrasound can be read wrong but blood test is super accurate. I had the blood test! I'm having a boy!!! 💙 also with the blood test you get to find out way earlier!! and it also checks for the chromosome abnormalities!
Yeah we are doing it for the genetic testing its just a cherry on top to found out the gender. I can't wait to find out!
