around 9:30am Sunday and she was born at 10:08 Monday morning...it was a slow labor..didn't get to the hospital till 4cm dialated

Arrived at the hosiptal at 7AM delivered at 11:09AM lol, he came flying out of me!

me. my water broke around 11:40am & I had her at 921 pm the same day.

14 hours with twins

Wow, what a variety already. Did walking help? I heard if you walk about half an hour a day it helps.

@adamsmaaa, for one baby?! Were you in pain the whole time or did you eventually become immune?

I was in labor for close to four hours. Pushed for an hour.

i was in labor from about 2 or 3pm to 7:18pm soo about 5 hours in labor

I was in labor for 14 hrs and pushed for 42 mins

I think it depends on how dialated you are, how effaced, what your tolerance to pain is as well... I was 5cm dialated the day before when I got checked. . I think my labor was a lot longer then the 4 hours but most of it i did at home....

@cuety83, my tolerance for pain is very low. I usually faint if it's too much for me

@kissinkitten, yeah I had one baby. Girl 38 hour labor. Pain the entire time . The last two hours were hard Cuz I had to keep pushing to get him out

I didn't eat or sleep for 38 hours. Couldn't even have water

Trust me. It's not that bad. As soon as it's over. U forget . It's temporary pain remember that

lol after I had my son I thought to myself I will NEVER have another baby AGAIN! AND here I am 12 years later! lol I think the scariest part is the unknown... Just know that your body knows what its doing and those contractions are working hard to get the baby out! I also had a natural labor (epidural didn't work and I was going to fast to get another one). Honestly I didn't think the actual pushing was too bad, once your contractions get the baby down your pelvic bone its all about the pushing. My midwife doesn't believe in cutting, so she let me rip but it was mild! I remember it burning and them telling me "push through the ring of fire!" THEN I pushed him out (in 20 minutes) and they put him right on my bare chest and he was so beautiful and precious, I completely forgot what had just happened! In other words, its all worth it! :) every labor is different...
