Ugh it feels like my baby shower is taking forever.... everyone is having theirs and I'm still…

@optimommy, just be prepared.. I had mines last Sunday and got like 6 things off my registry.. 2 tubs clothes a bouncer, $400 in gift cards and $70 cash... I was happy maybe because I had all my big stuff already(bassinest, car seat, stroller etc)

well $400 in gift cards is great...so the things they didn't buy u still can get @mrsalston

how did your diaper raffle turn out?

We(my husband and I) had been buying things since finding out so the babies wardrobe is packed I actually gave some things away because he was buying too many of one size and I knew the baby would grow out of it fast... Also I had two registries but the both had about like 30 things on them but it was the same thing on each registry... I got 6 cases of diapers with the raffle so now I have 18 cases of diapers( I stock piled diapers) and 2 cases of wipes. I'll have two more small showers within the next 2 weeks at work( 1 from my dpmt, and the other from nurses I socialize with throughout the hospital) and I'm still receiving gifts from ppl who didn't attend the shower @optimommy

ok nice @mrsalston yes I'm trying to stock pile now too...and I've brought a few items of clothing for him... got his crib and mattress and mamaroo....just really need a bathtub, pack n play, stroller travel system, playmate and lots of diapers

I would say you have plenty of time but shoot I remember when I thought I did and look I'm 9+ months now... Just get what you can get. How many ppl did u invite @optimommy

um like 80 but u know how people are...so I only expect like 40 @mrsalston realistically
