38 weeks 4 days.. My dr is talking about inducing me after 39 weeks... Which would be sometime after Tuesday. I'm 2+ cm and 70% effaced.... But I do not want pitocin and am even more against an epidural. Dr is more impatient than me!
If it's not absolutely necessary, tell him no! It's your choice
Also, now would be a good time to start a quick regimen of evening primrose oil to get things moving naturally.
Doctors like that seriously piss me off. They love to induce patients so their work can be on their schedule, which is just wrong. Many say that this issue has been addressed and it does not occur anymore... but it does. All they have to do is give some medical opinion as to why you should be induced. I understand them not wanting to wake up at all hours of the am, but come on... you knew what the job entailed when you signed up for it. Tell your doctor no! Unless there really is a medical emergency, they cannot force you to induce.
I won't be having a epidural either. Good luck mommy: )
My dr considers 37 weeks full term & says that the baby is ok to come anytime after 37 weeks so I’m listening to her 🤷🏼♀️
tmi i need ur opinions pik in comments! the dr said i was bleeding yesterday after she check for dialation im only 36weeks 4cm. Is this a sign for me to go to the hospital?
It's my turn ladies!
Finally, after nearly FORTY-TWO weeks... I decided to get induced. Baby Violet scared me with some decreased fetal movement and I couldn't wait any longer.
Just left the dr... After a week of no heartbeat on doppler, ultrasound and waiting on my dr to tell me something.. Found out my baby died 4 wks ago. 😢😪 Have to have dc next week.
My Dr. told me that after 34 weeks they no longer stop labor. Has anyone went to the hospital after 34 weeks and they stopped it?
@mamalamadingdong, @10yearslater thank you ladies! I agree, I don't want to force her out of she's not ready.
