what do you preggies take for anxiety? I'm desperate.
you have to qualify for low income and medicaid just dropped me so I don't think I'll qualify.
@jomommaclark, you can try Planned Parenthood. I used them for gyno visits when I didn't have insurance. It looks like there are 3 in Fort Worth. They may be able to advise you.
I do not want to take medications but I don't want to cause harm to my child from stress. apparently I don't have insurance anymore either. @babyhawkins2015 @jjbutton
If you are unsure about taking medications, some doctors can recommend therapists who work especially with pregnant moms and children. They may be able to help you talk through your problems and learn coping techniques. Talk to your doctor, you won't be the first to ask. My doctor believes mom needs to be physically and emotionally well. You can do it!
@jomommaclark, my ob told me that with these type of medical conditions, they have to weigh out the risks of monmy and baby. If both your OB and your other dr know about it, you should be fine. My bestie is 12 weeks pregnant & has ADD as well.. but her dr's kept her on her meds. You will be fine.
I'm trying not to dwell.trying to keep myself busy. it's the quiet and being alone that I don't do well with. @livd15 @babyhawkins2015 @queendavis
I have ADD lol. I'm just worried I'll get so bad that it will hurt my baby. @livd15 @babyhawkins2015 @queendavis
@jomommaclark, same here as @livd15 I was on anti-depressants and anxiety pills for 7 years. I lost a baby in March of this year, told my psychiatrist after I lost the first one and got pregnant the month after...she took me off the second she learned I was pregnant again. So, I try to do a lot of meditation, no music, no tv, no nothing, just sit alone and breathe without distraction. Takes practice but it helps
I'm pretty sure there is something you can take. Someone else posted about it and someone said there was a safe one for pregnancy. May have been Zolaf? I'm not sure. Definitely ask your doctor because they will give you somethin!
was just hoping there would be something safer than xanax.
I had a death in the family, my brother inlaw got put in jail, medicaid dropped me, neighbors taking dog to pound they'll probably just put it to sleep, etc. I am having a very hard time keeping it together and I have 3 other children. @livd15 @queendavis
@jomommaclark, I went I was still working. I didn't qualify for the lowest rates, but I was able to get some services. It could be worth a try if it's your only option.
