They stick their hand up your vagina it's so uncomfortable and they make u spread ur legs like in a butterfly position that's the best way I can describe it I've been in and out of l&d & every time I go they check my cervix@ngujen
But they can make you dilate :( that's what happened to me .. I was 36 weeks - not dilated and a couple of days after they checked me I started having contractions and dilated to 4.5 cm them they stopped my contractions and when I was 37 weeks I started getting then again .. So yeah :(
