We bought the same one for my moms car Pai's been in it since she was a few weeks old we just used an insert with it when she was smaller but now she doesn't need an insert
Okay good. I get a little concerned when people forward face their babies so early. It could be very dangerous. You should look into extended rear facing (if you don't already know about it.) It's super safe because baby will be fully supported by the seat if there's an accident instead of only being held in by straps.
