I don't know if this is allowed but I need to get it off my chest. I'm pregnant, but I'm not the person that asks for a whole lot from my partner. But he needs me to do EVERYTHING! Dishes,laundry, cooking, cleaning and go to work on top of it. But he goes to work comes home and plays video games. He knows things are getting harder for me and he doesn't help. Today he had the nerve to ask me why I never do dishes. And what does he do? Nothing! plays video games all day. Has anyone else had this problem? What did you do to get your partner to help out? I'm desperate.

my love was kind of like that at first, but I explained to him with the dishes there's nothing g to argue about, rinse your dishes when you're done with them, and put them up. then we won't have piles everywhere, I explained that my belly was too big and being pregnant you can't clean with chemicals so he was gonna have to help me or the house would never be kept up. luckily my boyfriend is understanding and wants to take every precaution possible because he wants baby to be healthy and happy.

Well see with him he's all I clean all day at work I don't wanna come home and clean too. But even on his days off he says he doesn't wanna clean because it's his days off. But on my days off I clean and do everything. He won't even help with the babies room-.- and it's driving me crazy because it's his child too and she'll be here soon we have roughly 8 weeks before she makes her arrival.

My husband was like that at first too. I sat him down and told him that I can't do it all alone. I told him that we made the baby together and this house is both of ours, so it's not fair that I get no help. Then all it took was some reminding and splitting the work

my husband is like that too and he still doesn't get up and do things on his own I have 2 year old daughter to take care of my list of chores is doing the dishes cleaning the living room , the dining room , my room ,and the bathroom and he comes home asking me why am I so lazy to top it off I dont take my prenatal pills so I'm very tired he just doesn't get it plus I'm 6 months pregnant .. but hopefully he helps with the baby when he's here .
